About the treatment
What is Skin PRP?
Skin PRP uses the growth factors already present in your own blood. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich portion from the rest. That concentrate is then placed into the skin across the area being treated.
The aim is to prompt the skin's own repair response rather than to add volume. Because the treatment works with your biology, change is gradual: it builds over the weeks after each session rather than appearing straight away. Suitability, the number of sessions and the areas treated are agreed at your consultation, and results vary between individuals.

The process
Consultation
We assess your skin, talk through what is bothering you and confirm whether the treatment is appropriate for you.
Blood draw
A small sample of blood is drawn from your arm, in the same way as a routine blood test.
Centrifuge separation
The sample is spun in a medical centrifuge to isolate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma.
Preparation and treatment
The skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied for your comfort, then the plasma is placed across the treatment area using fine needles.
Aftercare
Leave the skin bare for the rest of the day where possible, keep it clean and use sun protection. Any redness usually settles within 24 to 48 hours.
